Yo yo....long weekend coming up! wats all the happening pple out there considering?... I think i will be hanging out, sleeping and resting those muscles... have been pretty active at work lately, as in work and oso their activities such as Netball and Dragon boat...this yr i signed up totally on volunteer basis... interest and i think it is good to stay active and in touch with ya fitness? think the netball team is gonna get a proper coach....cool! i realise our team can play, its just uncoord and well....strategy not there... coach = training = improvement = GOOOD! :) met Jac at the friendly match on wed....vs MCDS...lost....hahahaa....but really "qiao"! heeheee.... yes.... and in the process have a broken big toe nail....badddddd broken.... ouch!
I am currently reading "Trading Up" - Candance Bushnell...abt a lingerie model and her super hap life and lifestyle, social group and yet empty life (?). it makes me think abt richness and poorness... how rich is rich enuff? is there really such a thing...do material riches bring you happiness? i think we all work for what we deserve and what we need. with the human spirit, you wouldnt die...life is as fulfilling as you make it out....would driving a BMW fulfill me? i think there were times we do think that it would be good...but one thing i wana bring out is that it is NOT NECESSARY. i am happy with simple apartment, comfort, love but its the SECURITY of it all that matters to me. what for the big house and fast car if it is not secured if you get wat i mean.
Tomorrow is Jane's 1st bday....the fat sumo with a wail to match her size....sigh and it has to be a lunch thingy....everyone knows its beach day for me....my family just likes to make things tuff for me..... hmmmm....
anyway....exciting plans to visit JB on sunday thru monday....if not, lazing at home with a good show/ book/ microwaved mashmallows would be good.... *wink*
I look forward to the break. next week looks bz too...with the trainings for netball and DB, 2 each so i gotta think abt whether i wana go for all or break my back while doing them..... tuff choice horrr... ? :)
Meanwhile i am still trying to figure out how to post photos and add links to this thing... i am so not talented....miin how....where are u???? help.... :P
