I am going sim lim tomorrow!! me soooooo excited! Don't ask me why but going there excites me. Really, discoveries i make there...priceless. And i love fiddling with all the stuff and i always walk around there in wide-eye wonder...a little in awe, a little lost but totally loving every minute of the "lostness".

I think I am a closet geek...I think I will be so excited i can't sleep tonight!! I wana finger those cold hard cases...see game demos...talk tech about RAMs....ahemmmm ....those DAM lambs!

my family...

I was very bored yesterday (errrr...."yesterday" was apparently many many many yesterdays ago... i gots lazeee) so I took some "family" portraits. Hee hee... my 3 favourite duckies.

Smallest one is Muthu aka Duck Duck aka Er. Duck, my constant travel companion. my security blanket, a good security blanky... actually he is Er. Duck II. His predesecor went missing. I still miss Er. Duck I...

Here's number 2...ahem...KL. why?? just take a look at his KL face!!! ha ha...I would say he's the most attitude of all, i am proudest of him...
This is the big ass duck...his name is Bao zai...he was named by MOMD. He looks silly and gong...hur hur hur...In my imagination he is the big-arsed gong gong one that gets bullied by the rest...

These are not in the categories of most-loved ducks. I have 2 of these...one smaller one larger. i thought it looks like a duck but errrr upon further debate with colleagues/ frens and further scrutiny...we thinks it is a chick.....just think the big round head very duhhh...they are yet unnamed so any suggestions pls just giveeeee.
Errr...these are somewhat a bit lower down on my list of "loved ones"... i still think of the arse that I once dated who still tried to justify his breaking with me...and of course his pathetic existence as a human being.... basically. somehow turtles and frogs remind me of him... yes...he is a chow turtle...and a frog at the bottom of a well. -_- I is mean... :P But i understand that these creatures are innocent...i still spare them a corner of my bed to hang out...cant just toss them out righttttt?? So here is it...my happy "family" heee...Ahemm....extreme right...smelly brown dog, abu...he is becoming very nuah....losing his fillings ...

I just realised....Australia size is NOWHERE near UK size... i bought a size 8 bikini...thinking it was UK size...but then now i realised it was Australian size 8, equil to UK size 6, KNN....equil to US size S or 4!! i should have gotten an Australian 10!! Zan....bloody Australian size 10 sounds humongous lorrr.

i mean i can wear the stupid 8 la, hengzzzz...but it is a little bit fitting.

Don't laugh at my misfortune, the other 2 bikinis were of correct size...coz i BOTHERED to try...

WHY IN THE WORLD ARE THERE SO MANY SIZE STANDARDS WORLD-WIDE?? THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO KILL ME HERE!

Lesson learnt (yet again): always go to the fitting room and try...don't be lazy...

A little get-away...

This morning was nice...we went for a run at Botanics...MOMD and me. We have been talking about doing it for days...so we finally did. He walked, i ran, then we met and walked together. Chatted about nothing in general and random nonsense. It was special...we have not had a get away in the park for over a year, since before arsehole-days...we used to "run away" from work to spend some stoning hours doing nothing, just listening to crickets and birds and dazing. These moments are very special to me...I don't know about him.

Breakfast was prata kosong and teh halia at the prata house down the road...yums, been a while since i had prata...so deprived hor??

Just to set the record straight...we are NOT together...we will NEVER be together...i just secretly adore/ admire/ love him...whatever... hur hur...i think not so secret already la... hor??

Anyway we were at prata we were talking about the tammy video...heeeee... key phrases i caught.... "foolish pride...misplaced values...street urchins mentality...superficial values...live a day at a time...have no considerations for others". We were not impressed by the act in the video...it was boring, slow and really zilch of passion...it was like they were just doing it coz of the camera.

Went down town in the evening to get an avi-enabled DVD player but it was out of stock at the shop. I ended up at surfbabe and bought like a lot of discount items... haha... for 100 bucks i got 3 boardshorts and 1 roxy bikin, oso got 2 bikini tops as i was running out of one-colour ones, prints are sooooo irritating sometimes. I needed to get more shorts coz my current ones, a lot cannot wear already, errr bikini bottoms oso la...i am not proud to admit but my butt is getting bigger!!!! HORRORS OF HORRORS!!!! upgrade, upgrade!! So they (the shorts, not the butt) were packed into the "to be passed to cousin"/ "to be sold to gurung kuni"/ "to be donated to salvation army (ehhh they still quite wearable state leh)"/ "to be discarded" stack.

I hate putting on weight but MOMD said its good weight coz i am eating a lot better and healthier than last time, so it (the food, not the weight) should do my body a whole world of good and he said not so much weight la...STOP WHINING! He always said i was like surviving on cigs and junk food last time. Guess he was also a contributing factor to my giving up cigs. I look up to him (MOMD, not the cigs) too much...end up i listen to him too much. As Sarah Jessica Parker said in "Failure to Launch", "Maybe I will let him teach me something tomorrow".

Kirsten and Sandy Cohen, characters in The OC. I was watching season 2 yesterday and it really struck me how much work goes into maintaining a relationship, any relationship, married, courting, dating blah blah. And this was JUST a TV show yet I could really see it.

Everyone in a relationship really has to make a CONSCIOUS and CONSCIENTIOUS effort to WORK! Do not leave everything up to fate and give excuses like "let's go with the flow", "I don't know."

Yes, yes, you never know how things will go but if you are missing out the most important part of making the effort and putting in the determination to be serious, how the hell will the relationship work??

You think it will all just magically come to you? That the one you are dating now is the one you settle down with? If you don’t see it and refuse to put in the effort to see it from the start, how is it going to be continue "rightly"? It will just become another random relationship.

Mood

Today i am not in the rosiest of mood.

Yesterday's event at Sentosa Golf Club was sucky...their service was yucky...they were tardy in F&B set-up...they were stingy (each person only had a sheet of paper on the table for taking notes; we ordered tea break items for 23 pax and they really gave us exactly 23 pcs per item)...basically i was not pleased. Mood therefore got bad...

Even when the view from our meeting room was nice...i was cheesed by the service...here's hole 1 of tanjong course, the rest of the golf course and the sea all round...Once again family went around organising gathering...without my input...i made noise this time, if i don't, noone would take me seriously and i just keep getting brushed aside... my take usually doesn't seem to have an weight. Mood got badder...

Mood was ultimately worsened till level of pits coz.... MOMD was monopolised these few days...it made me hopping mad. I know i am not suppose to get like this about him but i am a bit fuming. and the fact that the person acted all hao lianz about it... you are not the only one, so learn be humble. forget it, i ain't gona waste my time and my qi on this. He said he has been watching me...he watches me whenever we are around each other...and looking out for me and happy that i am back to healthy appetite...sweet...

Another thing i realised, i am obsessed with his shoes...somehow i just keep staring at his shoes when we meet...i think i am a bit weird but i think his shoes are sexy!

But on a better note...yesterday was mag's bday, we had a casual drinking thing at loof...love the place...i like the modliving signboardMag, the cake and the gersthe gers getting comfyAnd on a even nicer note...ann's baby is here!! actually he has been here since 15 Mar but today we took the time to visit her...he's so tiny yet its unbelievable he popped out of another human! i think if i had a baby i would be in state of shock for a while...i mean...wow... how did that happen?I wanted to carry him but don't think i should since i was not 100% confident... i DO know how to carry babies ok...i DID carry and take care of my nieces ok!And of course a red Jeep Wrangler in the carpark later did make me feel a teeny weeny bit better...overall...my mood is still un-rosy.PS: i have been thinking...sanya is non other than an island at China's hainan....cheyyyyy i thought where.... ha ha...yes...it has nice beaches tho...we had a mall project in sanya and yeah the place is pretty amazing, loads of coconuts too...heeehee

Launch of Xbox 360 Xbox 360 is a cool piece of equipment...it even looks sexy with its hourglass figure..haha...Went for the launch after work today with MH, mit-colt and fren. Woo...lots of $$ went into the setup! And check out the crowd at the venue, red dot museum...coolzzz.... some VIPs were sent to the venue on a chartered SBS double-deck bus which of course carried the xbox ad....dangling xbox from the ceiling...i wannttttt!This time there was food...loads of interesting finger food (the salmon canapes were deliciousssss but the pastry under it was yucky dry, so i ate the salmon and threw the pastry... guilty guilty) ...we "love" the xbox cupcakes..at least mit-colt does!! hahaThey gave away 5 xboxs to a team of gamers from the audience...we didn't take part...didn't really know how to play. Hahaa...instead we "walked away" with other-smaller-but-also-nice goodies...heeee.... Some of the games... i like Kameo...graphics were superb tho i was hopeless at it...PGR (a car racing game) also very cool...The guys having fun...The music was inspiring so mit-colt broke into some shuffling...he was shy, so here you are, action from the knees down...learn the steps people...and learn it well!!! PS: castpost down so couldn't upload video...pls check back for honest-to-goodness shuffling achsion!Well some not so good things happened...didn't look so "nice" but what the hell...some beer, food and freebies, we wouldn't complain so much la. Ewww! The doc didn't wana jab me till it was last resort...so i had to take steriod and anti-itch pills and apply cream...it took longer than a jab to ease...but it eventually did at lunchtime. But the redness just sort of stayed. Errrr...i am just showing you examples on my thigh of my hives outbreak...imagine these patches all over me back, arm, calves.... so now you see why i "ewwwwww..."
